THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN CHILDREN WITH ALLERGIES TO COW’S MILK PROTEINS
I. N. Zakharova, M. A. Simakova

Summary. Gow's milk allergy (CMA) is a significant problem among children in the first year of life due to its high prevalence in this age group. In addition to the existing problems associated with the diagnosis and management of this condition, in recent years, great attention has been paid to the particular qualities of the nutritional status of children with CMA. Cow's milk remains a key staple in the diet of a lactating woman; in formula-fed infants, cow's milk-based formulas are the first product introduced into the diet. Eliminating food allergens, which make up the main diet and are the main source of nutrients, can lead to the development of malnutrition. The most common eating disorders include growth failure and poor weight gain, micronutrient deficits and eating disorders. This article provides an overview of the risk factors that can lead to malnutrition in children with CMA.

VEGETARIANISM: HEALTH RISK FOR CHILDREN
T. M. Yudina

Summary. Vegetarian diets are associated with a low intake of energy, saturated fatty acids and animal protein. Vegetarian children are at a higher risk of developing nutritional deficiencies than adults due to their higher requirements per kilogram of body weight. The average intake of omega-3 fatty acids is lower than that of omnivores with a vegetarian diet. The prevalence of iron deficiency in vegetarians is also high, despite the consumption of large amounts of vitamin C. In addition, vitamin B12 is found only in animal products. Supplements of vitamin B12, iron, omega-3, and vitamin D should be taken by children of all age groups who adhere to a vegetarian diet. It is necessary to monitor the health of vegetarian children by a pediatrician and a dietitian.
Keywords: vegetarian diets, child, adolescent, malnutrition, iron, vitamin B12, omega-3

DIAGNOSIS OF REFLUX NEPHROPATHY IN YOUNG CHILDREN
N. M. Zaikova, V. V. Dlin

Summary. The review of publications of domestic and foreign literature on the diagnosis of vesicoureteral reflux, the features of the course and formation of reflux nephropathy in children of early age, up to 36 months with recurrent urinary system infection is presented. The problem when examining children under 36 months of age with vesicoureteral reflux and recurrent urinary system infection is that reflux nephropathy is a complication of vesicoureteral reflux and urinary system infection, and does not have its own clinical picture. Today according to leading experts in Pediatrics and pediatric Nephrology there is no consensus on a reliable objective screening test to determine the development and progression of reflux nephropathy in young children. If it is impossible to perform nephroscintigraphy with DMSA and a high frequency of reflux nephropathy, so the definition of diagnostic markers in children, especially early age, remains relevant.
