THE INFLUENCE OF GADGETS ON THE CHILD'S VISION ORGAN

Summary. Rational use of gadgets by a child is not harmful if their use is limited. The main problem is a reduction of child's time for active games and walks, which reduce the risk of developing myopia, especially during daylight hours. After birth, the child's organ of vision continues to develop, some of its functions will be formed only by 13-14 years, necessary to maximize the preservation of optimal conditions for the healthy development of such an important sense organ as the eyes. It is important to follow the rules for working with a smartphone, tablet, computer in order to reduce the likelihood of adverse consequences.

CALCIUM AND PHOSPHATE METABOLISM IN CHILDREN: NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL

Summary. The modern concepts of physiology and the main indicators reflecting the presence of disorders of calcium-phosphorus metabolism are analyzed. These disorders carry the risk of developing various diseases, including kidney pathology, bone and soft tissue calcification. The effect of calcium and phosphorus in cells and extracellular fluid, the receptor apparatus of the components regulating the exchange of these electrolytes, the features of hormonal regulation, the structural and signaling functions of calcium and phosphates are described. The non-hormonal drugs used (along with hormonal ones) for optimal gentle correction of calcium-phosphorus metabolism disorders are listed.

EXPERIENCE OF PASSIVE IMMUNIZATION AGAINST RSV INFECTION IN PRETERM INFANTS

Summary. The article presents a review of the literature and own data obtained as a result of ten years of passive immunization of children born extremely preterm. The efficacy and good tolerability of the drug Palivizumab has been shown. It has been demonstrated that in the group of preterm infants who received a full course of passive immunization against respiratory syncytial viral infection with Palivizumab, the respiratory syncytial virus does not participate in the occurrence of respiratory tract diseases, unlike children who did not receive immunization.

OBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT OF AUDITORY RESPONSE IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS

Summary. The goal of this study was to assess the state of the hearing organ of children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). The auditory function of children with ASD was assessed using the otoacoustic emission and auditory brainstem response recording. In the course of the work, the peculiarities in the registration of auditory brainstem response in children with ASD were not proved. In the course of the study, the pathology of the outer hair cells, the pathology of the auditory nerve from the spiral ganglion to the midbrain was not revealed. In the course of the study the need to develop an algorithm for assessing auditory analysis in children with ASD was shown. Scope of the results: otorhinolaryngology, neurology, speech therapy, psychiatry.

ACNE. MYTHS AND REALITY

Summary. Acne is one of the most common dermatological diseases. Manifestation in cosmetically significant areas, chronic course, ubiquity, as well as the lack of a unified understanding of etiology and pathogenesis even in scientific circles create the prerequisites for the emergence of many myths that have existed for decades. Various speculations cause an increase in the duration of treatment, loss of confidence in the dermatologist and a general deterioration in the quality of life. To maintain compliance and achieve better results, it is necessary to raise patient awareness of their disease and to prescribe adequate therapy. This article discusses the most frequently discussed causes of acne, describes the methods of therapy, including the method of topical therapy for mild to moderate acne with azelaic acid preparations (Skinoren).
